KEY ACHEIVMENT

HARO provided essential dry food supplies to 570 households. This support directly benefited 400 families in the Awrboogays village in the Sool region and 170 families in Garowe, Nugal region. HARO’s timely intervention alleviated food insecurity for numerous families affected by the conflict, demonstrating its commitment to addressing humanitarian crises with practical and immediate assistance.

Following the Las’anod conflict, HARO extended support to eight hospitals accommodating war-wounded patients. This assistance included the provision of medical and surgical equipment, along with ten ambulances to facilitate the transportation of injured individuals. Approximately 400 people wounded in the conflict benefited from this aid.

HARO successfully implemented a solar system project at Hingalol Secondary School and Hingalool Technical Institute on November 29, 2023. The project, costing $5,400, was aimed at providing clean energy and lighting to these educational institutions, thereby enhancing their energy efficiency and learning environment.
